Chrome and Windows will warn you about the download. That is expected for a new app. Allow it in Chrome, then choose “Run anyway” in Windows. See how ↓

Before you install

Expect two warnings. Both are normal.

The installer is code-signed, but Chrome and Windows judge files by how many people have already installed them, and every new version starts at zero. Until enough people have downloaded it, both show a warning. Here is how to get past each one.

  1. 1

    Chrome: keep the file

Chrome may stop the download with “This file isn't commonly downloaded” or “Suspicious download blocked”.

Open your downloads (the download icon at the top right, or Ctrl + J), then choose Keep. Newer versions put it under the arrow or the ⋮ menu as Download suspicious file. Confirm with Keep anyway if asked.

  2. 2

    Windows: run anyway

When you open the installer, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC”.

Click More info and check the publisher reads Liam Cunneen, then click Run anyway.

Only ever download CSlytics from this page. If Windows shows any publisher other than Liam Cunneen, or “Unknown publisher”, don't run it.
